Enjoy Your Youth
Seize the opportunities of the day Like the unable minds and bodies wish they could Those that envy youth in every way Before the sunlight turns from yellow to gray Do whatever you want and fearless you should Negativity sent in the form of the boogie man you should slay Before the edges of your youth begin to fray and you begin to learn things you never understood and adulthood sticks to the back of your heels like clay Get outside in the sunlight and play and boy does it feel good To feel the breeze on your knee caps and watch the trees sway Before the burden of responsibility on your shoulders begins to weigh Find some friends and go into the woods Allow your imagination to wander and stray Go running into the twilight they Want to run with you and definitely would A very large price they are willing to pay To be in a place where they once stood |
Dream,
Believe, Achieve
People say “if you can dream it, you can achieve it” but that’s not always true. Having a dream is great, but achieving it is something you must work hard to do. If you want something done you have to put in effort and time, Goals and dreams are only reached after a long, hard climb. But what happens when that climb gets tough? You must push on and stay focused no matter how rough. You can’t quit, you can’t get tired, and you can’t stop. You have to believe and be determined in order to make it to the top. Along the way you may face some tough obstacles and your motivation may fall, In that case, you must stay strong like a big brick wall. Dedication may waiver and your confidence may seem small, But if you want it bad you have to be willing to stand tall. Work hard, stay focused, and always believe, That is when your dream will be something that you can achieve. |
