As the Robin to the Meadow
The vast open waters are all I see It reminds me of you Our times together Sailing through sleepless nights That is the worst time And the best Because that is when you are closest My heart swells like high tide That is when the tears come Like a storm taking over That is what you do to me I can almost hear you Over the waves crashing the ship at dawn Yet it is all ending I can never come back to you So this is my goodbye Remember me as I was And I will remember you |
Original Poem
Through the valleys and mountains we travel All in search for happiness and dreams at the end of the journey As we begin the journey, all we can see is the bright glory ahead But we don’t see the adversity of the journey that awaits Through the valley and mountains we travel The first week goes without a problem However during the middle of your journey you have to climb the first wall One or two will stop and give up and are left to think about that problem Through the valley and mountains we travel We are all tired and desperate as many problems arise As we have lost many to the hundreds of wall But few are left and those who make it will arise |
