Baby Bird
Time has come, To fly away, far from The place you’ve known, Your entire life. Free falling into the open air Adrenaline kicking in, and Not knowing if you’re going to Stretch your wings and soar, Or fall to the ground and watch Life pass you by. Memories flash by from when You were a baby bird. You feel hopeless and confused. You hesitate, afraid to fly. But that’s not how she prepared you, You’ve known your whole life That this day will come, To leave the nest and fly. She’s prepared you to fly, Without you knowing it. Time’s up, You need to go now. Spread your wings, Baby Bird, And fly away from home. |
