“Suicide doesn’t end the pain
It passes on to the ones you love and remains” - Suicide Stigma by The Color Moral Suicide Survivors If hate only begets hate And misery loves company Then how can we Allow people to carry this weight These victims so alone Or so they feel Such that they reveal A pain never before shown With a permanent solution to a temporary problem A selfish action Leaving those around them unable to find traction All those they didn’t realize cared now feel so solemn The shockwave that is left Rippling through the community like a tear falling in the pond Leaving no new days to be dawned A friend’s life succumbed to theft. Yet despite overwhelming odds tomorrow came For those who lived on We see the new dawn But we never forget the name To anyone who thinks that life cannot mend Hope means Hold On Pain Ends. |
Children of a Broken Home
Living for themselves and “for no reason” Feeling so alone Their family’s have commit treason They spend every moment wishing they were dead, But they will keep on living They will stay strong even though they dread Having to pretend they are forgiving All they want is a place to call a home A place with a family and love Not just fear on the unknown The fighting is what they want to be rid of Or so they think When there’s no more fighting It’s all gone in a blink The silence is deafening A silent lonely home, again they’re left on the brink It used to be all they could feel was rage And now they feel alone like they’re in a cage. Their families’ dissolved They scream of all that they’ve lost And for everything that they have ever loved They would get it back if they could, no matter the cost. |
